I started my education by studying Skin and Body Care in Europe and working alongside instructors from China, India and Russia. During this time, I learned Tai-Chi and focused on Old Asian and European traditions of body healing and spirit balancing. I became familiar with Reiki and other energy healing techniques during sessions in body bioelectrical circulation. Once I came to the United States, I continued my education in skincare by attending school for esthetics. I became certified in microdermabrasion, electrotherapy, anti-aging acne facials, hot stone massage and advanced skin treatments at the New Age Spa Institute in Illinois, along with additional Aveda classes. I am also certified in chemical peel procedures by PCA SKIN. I love to treat my clients’ skin with organic products and believe that achieving healthy skin results does not mean you have to use aggressive products. Aside from my work with skin and body care, I graduated from Arlington Beauty Academy in 2004 and trained as a hair stylist/colorist by Mario Tricocci and Elizabeth Arden. Now that I’m continuing my career at the Knick Salon and Spa, I am eager and happy to work with all clients, whether it be hair, skin or nail needs!

“This was my first time visiting Knick Salon. I moved to the MKE area from the suburbs of Chicago, and I always had a trusted hair stylist while living there, so I was a little nervous when booking this appointment, but I was not disappointed! My appointment was with Larissa, and she was fantastic. She was extremely welcoming, friendly, and asked me multiple questions about the particular style I was looking for, which left me feeling reassured that I was in good hands. Larissa took her time with her work, and she demonstrated how knowledgeable and talented she was while taking care of me. She even put a mud mask on my face while my hair was soaking, and she massaged my hands while was hair was soaking as well. She was super conversational and was very pleasant to be around.
